Is there a way to wake your phone via trackball ?

Why don't people just use things they way they were designed to be used? Why do you want to wake up your phone via trackball anyway?

Its for someone else

I use mylock and my phone unlocks and wakes via power button im happy with that.

A friend is wanting it this way cause her BB was like that I guess and she's trying to keep things as close to the way she's use to using it.

I never keep my phone stock
Just about finished up porting PinkLife theme to my incredible for her. Just hope she gets help to root it for her, Im a bit too far away to do it for her

I've tried just about all roms out for incredible. Im froyo addicted so im on to CM6 on the incredible.

Oh ok, I just find it easier to unlock my Droid via a 3.7in display instead of a tiny trackball.

Oh ok, waking it up makes the question make more sense. That would be interesting to have the ability to do that.
