First, any advice on which extended life battery to purchase.
My HTC Eris is, of course, locking up when the battery discharges, but it doesn't seem like it is all that low when it locks up. When it locks up from low battery I can't unlock it. I've checked the manual and only see instructions for resetting the phone, which clearly is not what I want to do.
The only way I've figured out how to unlock it is by calling the phone (usually not possible when I am in lock-up), the using the trackball to scroll up and down. If I don't unlock using the trackball then the phone goes back into lock-up.
What am I missing here?
