Unlock slide

Don't get to surf as much on the site as I would like. But I'm wondering if there is an app or something to do away with the annoying slide lock. I would just like to hit the power button and be good to go. Any ideas?

MyLock, free on the Market. There's a huge thread about it somewhere, but it should do what you want.

search the market for somehting called MyLock - i think thats what its called. It just gets rid of the slide thing, you just push the top button to unlock it...

What is better about keyguard disabler?

MyLock is a lockscreen replacement. When you use it you see the lockscreen for a brief flash or you see the replacement lock screen. It's not really designed to just simply remove the lock screen. Keyguard Disabler just does what it's supposed to. You turn on the power and you see whatever was on the screen when you turned it off.

I tried Keyguard Disabler, and it's actually less functional than MyLock. There's nothing in place to prevent the keyboard slider from unlocking the phone.

So in summation: More Features + Free > Less Features + $1.49.

In the end it's personal preference.
