Need "unlock code" for my Motorola i1, to terminate service with BOOST MOBILE !!!!!!!

I have BOOST MOBILE no longer active...I was always told one needs an "unlock code" for their phone, in order to use it with another company...i.e. provider...is this true ?

only the carrier can give u the code to unlock ur device. Droid Forums does not have these sorts of things.
