unknown calls??

Why do my call say unknown on my droid phone? I have the callers in my contacts but they still come up unknown why?

Do these friends happen to have their number blocked? My brother has his number blocked so even though he is in my contacts list it shows as Unknown since the phone has no way of knowing it is him.

gonna have to say owner of the number has it blocked.

ok they just me again but press *82 and it still say unknown.
