Unchecking default contact number

I have two fine numbers for one person, I accidentally marked one as the default. How do I go about unchecking it?

Edit the contact and long-press on the number. Select make default number.

what i want to do is NOT make it the default number. when i press on the contact icon, i want to be able to choose between the two numbers i have for that person. how do i uncheck the one i accidentally checked off as default?

Oh. OK. Thought you wanted to make the OTHER number the default number. That's a good question. Other than deleting the contaqct and recreating them with no specified default number, I don't know of any way.

BTW -- you can delete the number that you made default for the contact and then add it back, as well.

Unlocking Default Number

All i have found is to delete the number that is currently the default number. Then just add the number again.
