Unable to connect to internet

I get error message "Sorry! The application Internet (process com.android.browser) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again. The only option on the screen is "Force close"

I would do a simple restart of the phone to see if that fixes the problem. If it doesn't, let us know and we can get into some other ideas.

I shut it off and back on...no help. I pulled the battery...no help.

Next step I would try is clearing the cache on your current browser. Empty the cookies as well too, you might as well clean it all out. If your're still getting that message then there are two things left to do. Install another browser, like Dolphin HD and see if that gives you an issue, and if you're still having an issue then you may have to do a factory data reset.

Also make sure that you are not running any virus protection or task killers. Both are resouced hogs and can cause problem.
