Umm....I dont use my Ipod anymore

So I just wanted to comment that my 120GB IPod is almost useless to me now. When I go run...I use Pandora. When I'm at the gym, I use my playlists on my Droid. When driving...the Droid is there for me too. And it gives me driving directions, traffic conditions, retail information, weather conditions, get movie info, make calls, view vidoes in HD on a bigger screen, and soooo much else! My Ipod...just sits in my room. And to think I spent more on my Ipod than I did on the phone! :icon_eek:

Hope everyone had a safe and joyous Christmas!!!

I agree, about 80% anyway. :) The only thing that annoys me is that playlists don't transfer over with the songs in order, rather, alphabetically. I've tried a few different programs to do it and all seem to have issues that prohibit me from getting them to do what I want. Other than that one thing, I'm totally with you, my Droid has made my iPod feel like crying in the corner due to neglect.

Hah, I'm not using my ipod either.

All though, I am going to miss iTunes/ipod because it tracks play count and skip counts.. I used to make a lot of play lists based off of that.

I would listen to my music on my iPod 90% of the time and it was great to sync back to itunes and make play lists that way...

A similar situation, I just got a Garmin 255W GPS for xmas....but I'm getting a Droid next week and have no plans on using the Garmin. So I havent even taken it out of the box yet...

I sold my iphone 3GS on ebay in favor of the Droid. Trouble is, I have several audible audio books without a home. I have since purchased an ipod touch 8gb almost exclusively for the audio books and a few games, like Scrabble.

Ha wow i thought i was the only one i actually sold my itouch
and use an old ipod for my car it just stays plugged in in the trunk not worth caring about to much

LOL Dezymond... I said ALMOST useless. Especially since I bought this portable gizmo for it that ran a mere $400. Too bad it doesnt allow a dock for the Droid.

Oh and btw...pic taken with the Droid as well :)

Same here, used my iPod maybe once in last month. Too bad droid doesn't have a bit more storage (somewhere around 100GB), then I'd toss iPod, now I still have it so that I can have access to my whole music collection,

I have the Bose Sounddock Portable. It had a line in jack, so I can use my Droid with it. I do, however, still use my iPod 160 GB Classic for that, my car, and Dj'ing. Not ready to get rid of it just yet. Plus, I use my Droid too much for other stuff to keep it plugged into the Sounddock (meetings and such), so yeah, I'm stuck using he iPod (for now......)

I received an email recently from my laptop... it has been somewhat lonely since I got my Droid... :)

I definitely don't use my iPod Touch as much as I used to. I don't have any music on my droid so I use the Touch for that. But when I want to surf the net or look something up....I use my droid. Also, I find myself noticing Apple snobs a whole lot more. To think I used to be one. Lol
