Can I copy/download songs from my IPOD to my phone?

I'm new with this phone and I'm wondering if I can copy my songs off my IPOD and put them on my phone. I currently take my IPOD to the gym with me for the treadmill etc., but it would be nice to have the songs on my phone instead. Thanks.

The short answer is yes, the long answer is it's complicated. I know you need to involve iTunes, and I am pretty sure that the files need to be converted. From there I'm lost. Hopefully my response will boost this to the top of the list and someone will take a shot at a proper explanation.

Good luck!

You can put everything that doesn't have DRM. If you use WMP to sync your music into your Razr it will convert any unsupported formats. You can also just copy all the files from your computer or from the iPod (you'll need to change folder properties to show hidden files in order to see your music) straight to the Razr with a computer.

The app "Double Twist" does this. Prior to 2009 (when Android really took off thanks to the OG Droid), everything bought from iTunes was DRM protected. Pain in the a$$ to transfer those files, but "easiest" method is to burn those songs to cd, then rip them back to computer. Edit tags from computer, then you can get them on phone by drag/drop....

Another thought is to download Google Music onto pc. It should find all your music files. Then install app (if not natively installed on phone) and open it. All music should be there...

I just copied my iTunes library from my PC to the storage card on my phone. Most, if not all of the music plays fine on my Maxx. I like to use the music player "Jet Audio Plus" as it seems to work the best for me as well as it has an EQ and various other settings for adjusting my music.
