Tweet notification

I downloaded the Twitter app from the Market and was wondering if there is a way to have a notification pop up when I get a new tweet? I have the Droid X2 phone.

Don't use that twitter app, but I'm sure there's an option in the settings somewhere. I have my tweets notify me through texts. No matter what twitter app is use, I always get notified.

What did u do to get it working as I have all the settings checked to notify me and have it synced in accounts but i never get anything. Which has only happen recently previous versions of the app seemed to work just fine.

Log into the Twitter app and go to your profile. Select Settings (should be towards the bottom). Tap on your Account and the notification settings should be intere.

I did this already. i uninstalled and reinstalled maybe that will fix it, since i restored from TB.
