TV remote app

Is there an app that will allow me to use my Droid 1as a remote for my TV and comcast cable box?

It is incredibly unlikely, due to the phones not having a method of emitting IR signals. However, I believe there's a couple of apps that will interface with a DVR, but only to manipulate files, not as a full out remote control. Google TV is a completely different story of course.
