Turn Off LED Indicator

How do I turn off the LED indicator? The one that flashes when you get a new message.

I've looked in the settings for Text Messages, Google Chat and GMail. No luck! Please use step by step instructions, not exactly a techie here.

Cut and small piece of electrical tape and cover it up.
