Trying to root my Droid 3

I need to root my Droid 3, but when I followed the instructions at a website, and downloaded and install the Motorola drivers (Motorola_End_User_Driver_Installation_5.2.0_64bit (1).msi), I received an error message, that "the installation package is not supported by this processor type" Is there another version of the drivers? My processor is an Intel(R) Core(TM) i5 2400 CPU. Any help would be greatly appreciated. BTY, I'm trying to uninstall Skype Mobile, and apparently I must root my Droid to do so.

Depends on the OS and processor. You may need the 32 bit drivers.
