I've made a PDF file and its in my Google Drive. I can see and open it. I want to be able to access it from Google Docs.
The only thing I did is upload as choose open file with Google docs on a computer.

When I see the PDF on my phone, no choice of Google Docs is there to open the file with.

How can I.open it or move a copy to my Google Docs?
Or, do I do it on my laptop and then I can see it via the phone's accessing the Google Docs?
Thanks. Not really a phone question. Sorry.

I thought Docs only displays and opens Word documents and Google Doc file types? PDF files can be opened with Drive PDF viewer, but I don't think PDF files will display when viewing files with the Docs app. You should be able to find it in your Drive app and tap to open with Drive PDF viewer though.

Apologies for the slow reply. Several family things cane up and took priority.

Thanksforfor the reply. I knew I could open with Google Drive as PDF, but all PDF files are grayed out on Google Docs. I converted to a jpeg so I could store and access from Google dogs of I already had it open and was using it and wouldn't have to switch to drive app.
Thank you Sajo.
