Trusted Devices

Just wanting to know what "Trusted Devices" is all about. I've seen several threads mentioning it, but don't see anything on my Turbo to activate this feature. Thanks!

Thanks Ollie - I figured out that if I use a Lock screen, then I have the option when connecting to a blue tooth device to enable it as a "Trusted Device." I normally don't use a lock screen, so I was never given that option. It all makes sense to me now.
Something more must be coming with 5.0.0?

Yes. It will allow you to set up areas that are Trusted which will disable your lockscreen for example until you've left that area which will make it turn the lockscreen back on automatically.

I just realized you are talking about devices. Doh!

It allows you to bypass lock screen. So Bluetooth devices like car, headphones, or wearables anytime they are connected it allows you to skip through without entering a pin or pattern.

No problem. Thanks for the additional info regarding Trusted Places. I was about to ask if there was an option for Trusted WiFi networks, but you took care of that for me as well. I hope that 5.0 really works well with our new Turbos.

There are apps on the app store that already do WiFi unlocking.
