Trucks and Android

I have Torque and a Elm327 bluetooth adapter works great on cars and pickups but not big diesels .
I am a diesel technicianand I am in the beginning part of learning to make android apps . I thought it would be great to have an app that works with the big diesel protocols like j1939
and 1708 . I have a bluetooth data link adapter I have not seen anything for android on this . Sometimes it would be so much easier to not have to get the laptop out just to read codes .
I am looking for some input on this idea and if anyone has seen this yet . All input welcome

Thought i was losing my mind, i didn't notice you put in a bunch of returns after your post.
There is no bluetooth love when it comes to trucks, still have to schlep to lap top around. we have WiFi that has about a mile radius, helps out for quick road tests. don't tell the FCC.
