truck usb port problems

just got my droid pro 2 days ago and tried plugging it into the the usb port on my 2011 chevy silverado but the truck said that the usb is not supported. is there software or an app that i need to make them work together? any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

What are you trying to do?

Those are usually just charging ports. Or if it's iPod ready.

That wont work through USB. Only if there is AUX in hooked up through your headphone Jack.
