USB/Bootloader problem?

Hey all.

Quick question. I have a Droid 2. Not rooted. And if i plug it in via USB cable to my lap top at my work or my desktop at my work, in "mass storage" mode and "charge only" mode, it's completely fine as long as I leave it plugged in, and when I unmount, no problems.

If I plug it in via USB to my desktop at home, no problems.

If I plug it in via USB to my lap top at home, and put it in "mass storage" mode, the phone will go into the bootloader screen. If I plug it into my lap top via USB and put it in "charge only" mode, it will be fine, but when I unmount it, the phone reboots.

Any thoughts?
