Trouble Setting Cpu on Bugless Beast

I have bugless beast, and I'm having trouble setting the cpu. Every time I try to change the slider, my phone reboots. And then it constantly has to reboot every time I turn it on. It does this until I do a factory reset, and once that is done, the cpu still hasnt been set. Is there a way to fix this? In general I just cant set the cpu. And what is the optimal setting to put my moto droid 2.2 with chevy no.1 kernals at?
