Trouble Rebooting

More often than not, when I reboot my phone it will hang. It's not consistent...but it happens enough to be really annoying.

When I press the power button to reboot the phone.

Sometimes, the white M will go dim...and the phone will just sit there.
Sometimes, the phone will just stay on the white M.
Other times it will go directly into bootstrap loader.

I have to do several (like 5 or 6) cycles of pulling the battery and rebooting the phone to actually get the phone fully booted.

Anybody know what this could be?

I've installed all kinds of things. I have "bootstrapped" but not recently. I am not booting the phone thru bootstrap. The problem happens during a normal "powercycle" boot

I know but sometimes on reboot if you are not bootstrapped it will try to go to clockwork and if you are not bootstrapped it will stick on m logo unless you pull the battery put on a new rcover through rom manager bootstrap, reboot into recovery and see if that remedies your problem.
