Transparent Power Control

I've noticed that some people have transparent/different colored power control widgets. How do you do this?

A lot of roms and themes come with themed versions of the pc widget. There may be an easier way to do it using say metamorph or root explorer though.

You will however need to be rooted for those methods though. Forgot to mention that. You can get other toggle widgets from the marketplace though.
