Transferring "My Calendar" entries to Google Calendar

My wife just discovered that she has been entering all of her calendar entries into "My Calendar" instead of the Google Calendar. This means that none of her calendar entries are synced with Google, which means that when she gets a new phone they won't appear on her calendar.

Can anyone tell me how to move the calendar entries from My Calendar to the Google calendar?

I believe she'll have to edit each event individually. Go into the event to edit and select the calendar at the top and switch it to Gmail. Don't think there's a quick way to do it.
