Transferring data from device to device

I just bought a samsung galaxy tab and the salesman said everything on phone would be available on tab all the apps I already bought, how do I get this stuff on tab and how can I get my music and pics from phone to tab

Maybe hook both devices to your pc and transfer from phone to tab, or put all the contents from your phone sdcard on your comp and then plug your tab in, and transfer everything to the tab's sdcard

Your apps should re-download when you add your Google account.

If both are rooted devices, then try Titanium Backup. Much quicker and more efficient then simply letting google restore your apps by logging in to your account and going in to the my apps screen of the market.
