Tranferring videos to computer

I fear I have lost my videos of my daughters dance competition :(. I "moved" them from my phone to my computer. Now they are in jpeg format. Can they be converted or have I lost them all?

Was the phone in USB mass storage mode when you did this? Did you move the files, or copy them?

It was in USB mass sotrage. I found out when I disconnected the cables that the videos where still on my phone (they were not showing when the cable were connectedm, which is why I panicked).

Next problem...I tried again and now the videos on my computer apear but with no sound when I open with Quicktime and Windows media player. There is sound when I play them on my Droid.

I use final media player. Plays everything and i havnt had any problems yet.

Sent from my DROID2 GLOBAL using DroidForums

VLC Media Player is your best bet. It contains codecs built in to the program so to speak that plays pretty much everything you throw at it.
