Okay, so I know I just got my Eris, but since I am still in the 30 day (trial) period I think I would like to switch to the Incredible. Has anyone used the 30 day period thing? will they let me just switch out phones with just the extra price or what?
yeah, I think I will, ive got to talk to my mom first (she is in charge of the account) but she will probably say yes. I just have felt that what I use my phone for (everything) it would be better in the long run for me to upgrade now to a faster (and better) phone.
The eris isn't a bad phone, any more than the droid or incredible, but I'm sure some people have had issues, just like any other phone. However, it is LESS of a phone than droid or incredible. Having spent some time on my wife's eris, I'd jump to the incredible or droid.
FYI, be aware that there is a one time switch to another phone within your 30 days, so whatever you change to you are stuck with for the remainder of your contract. That said, I agree with everyone here in that you should exchange it for the Incredible.

No, once you do an exchange, you are "stuck" with that phone. The only way not to get stuck is to do a return within the 30 day period. If you purchase another phone within 3 days of the "return", you will be assessed a restocking fee.
