You guys think trading my dx and a 100 bucks is a good deal for a 'bolt?

I wouldn't personally. I only have to charge my X once a day, not two or three. My friend got a Bolt last week and is returning it. He said the battery just don't last, and he had to charge it two and sometimes three times in one day. Read up on the comments on Verizon Wireless people left about it, and the battery life is a serious issue. The X is a solid, fast phone that is reliable and has good battery life. That's my opinion.

I get 16 to 20 hours of battery and mine hardly hits my pocket. Its a must tweek to get battery life. Once you do get it optimized its a well rounded device. I'm really liking this t-bolt and don't regret getting it. Also no, I'm not even rooted yet.

My opinion: If you're a heavy user, no. A moderate-light user, yes. Or if you're a heavy user maybe you can buy the 2750 or whatever mah it is extended battery

Battery issues are my concern, I have chargers every where so battery is not a huge deal.

I don't game, mostly just read forums and articles. I rarely put it down but I don't know if I'm a 'heavy' user. I don't fb or twitter just read.

I'm mostly wanting the bolt for tweaking. My dx is fine but would like to have more options for roms and kernels and what not. That's my biggest interest in the thunderbolt

I had a DX and it is by no means a something to laugh at. But it does not even compare to the Thunderbolt IMHO. I am getting about the same battery life as my DX. Around 12-15 hours. I paid full price for mine and am completly happy.

If you can find someone to take that deal... Do it!

While you will find many people that have a t-bolt that has bad battery life, there are others like me that got lucky and got a good one. My battery life is just as good as my Droid X and I can prove it with pictures. Mine easily lasts all day.

I paid full price for mine and have my de-activated 3 month old Droid X sitting on my desk.

Im also somewhat in the same boat. I want to get the T-Bolt. What I've seen I want.

I also wanted to purchase a new better battery to go along with it. But All I've seen is that huge one that attaches to the back of your phone. That I don't want. So Im waiting for a better battery to come along.

After hearing everyone talk about the battery I was sure I would need the extended one but his battery is on par with the dx and d2 so go for it.. at worst a second the battery is needed
