Trackball or Joystick

I'm sure you have all heard of the HTC Desire coming out. That phone has a joystick instead of a trackball. I am wondering what you guys think. Trackball or Joystick?

I haven't seen it, but it will be interesting, it'd come in handy for emulators.

If I had to choose, it would be a joystick. After owning a blackberry, I've learned trackballs are useless.
