Trackball alert, missing settings

Is trackball alert on this ROM so my LED notifier can be on while the screen is on? Additionally, how do I set input method to Swype and add my Facebook account/sync Facebook contacts? They are missing in my settings.

not sure about the led so hopefully someone else can answer that.

swype - long press on an empty text input area (like a blank text message). select input method. then select swype.

facebook contacts - download fb from the market. sign in. when prompted, select sync all contacts
