touch.facebook.com - redirects to mobile site?

I've been using the touch site on my D2 for facebook as long as I can remember. The mobile site always sucked. Recently they improved the mobile site, but removed the ability to log into the touch site for my phone. I still think the touch site is far better than the new and improved mobile site. Is anyone else able to log into touch.facebook.com?

What about tapping 'more' and then hitting 'desktop site'? Is that different from the touch site?

Since the mobile revamp I read in many places most people can't access the touch site.....I wish they would fix it because I prefer the touch site.

That just brings me to the desktop site. Which is what you would see on your computer. Its awkward to navigate the desktop fb site on a phone. It is different than the touch site.

I don't think it will be fixed. They purposely deleted it if what I've read is true.
