To Root or not to Root.......

Does it make any sense to hold off on rooting until 2.2 comes out??

You will probably lose the ability to root if you accept the update just lile when 2.1 came out. Somebody will eventually figure out another way around it but if you are thinking about rooting now would probably be the time unless you don't mind waiting

from a practical standpoint, rooting will force you to work through the learning curve on your droid real fast, so even if the update hits next week and you accept it and lose root, you'll know a lot more about your phone than if you didn't root... most likely anyway
