**to all debian users** help!!!

**to all debian/ubuntu users** help!!!

I need a hand here... I have been trying to get debian running for 3 days. including a 7 hour stint today.

Running Chevy Simply Stunning
chevy kernel

output after bootdebian results in these failures:
/system/lib/modules/ext2.ko failed (no such file or directory)
but if I cd to /modules and I 'ls' it shows a ext2.ko in the directory??

Loop_set_fd failed: device or recource busy

modprobe: chdir(2.6.32-medV-1.2ghz) no such file or directory.

HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELP!

this is driving me insane.

any help is much appreciated.

Thanks hook... not sure how many eyes look in the rescue section but I appreciate the appropriate move. :)

I have ironed out the first 2 problems... seems my only hang up is the

chroot: cant execute '/bin/bash': no such file or directory

HALLLLP.... hahaha... seriously though, what gives?

where is /bin/bash supposed to reside in my directories?
the root of my system? (IE: open root explorer and on root see /bin)
what is the executable that is supposed to be in the bash...

I am at a loss, 9 hours straight working on this...

please oh please droid gurus, tell me what to do!!!

I don't have your solution, but I can tell you this much. There used to be a thread about getting debian working on the old alldroid.org site. You might be able to find the thread by looking through their current archives.

Otherwise, I doubt you'll find much support in this forum, but you _might_ be able to get more answers by going to the various IRC channels, i.e. #koush, #droidmod, etc.

good luck
