TI and keyboard problems

How can I use a different keyboard? The option to choose the active keyboard is missing. I have two keyboards, Thumb Keyboard and Smart Keyboard both installed and ticked active, but I can't set them as the one to use. Also, my Titanium Backup files are not showing up in TI. I'm on nightly 19 if that matters.
