My progression of Android OS versions, or you might say my Android "experience":
1.6 > 2.0 > 2.1 > 2.2 > 2.3 port (yes I know there are a couple minor updates missing from that list)

Keeping in mind I had some good luck with ebay/CL and a friend to help me cover any ETFs and phone costs for all that switching, I think it's safe for me to say that despite lowering our standard of living in certain areas of our life, my Android experience has continually increased.
