There Will Be An Update to 2.1

I noticed in another thread that there is "Activation of Color Trackball"

How do I install the trackball so when the update comes it will have color?!?!?!

Just install it like any other app, I used Astro from the market to install my trackball.

Oh really...? I adb pushed mine to the system folder so I wouldn't accidentally uninstall it.

I just heard that they are leaving out the black send button in the native SMS/MMS app. This kind of thing makes me angry.

I mean if it's already coded into 2.2 why do they leave it out?

I want to full Google experience that was promised to me. Not the watered down version Moto and VZW are giving us.

This is an injustice and I payed good money for this phone. Jipping us out of the black send button is not the way to do business Verizon.

In all seriousness Ive been hearing rumors that they are leaving off the black colored send button in the native messaging app.

Ill be pretty upset if thats true. leaving off features is typical of VZW.

You mean you didn't use 1/8th drill bit to make a hole to install?

astro kept force closing on me when I tried using it to install the trackball.

You have to edit permissions and rename the trackball...

Since the 2.2 update has been delayed for so long.....I gave up and went back to my old Razr... I am too tired of being so stressed out all the time waiting 3 months or less for these free OS updates...it's RIDICULOUS!

Now I can finally have peace in my life and never worry about these pesky updates every few months....ever AGAIN!!
