The razr's music player is highly underrated ...

I haven't messed around with it too much until now but it's actually a very very good player with a lot of good options.

The automatic playlist, the recommended songs everything is top notch.

Using voice commands to play a playlist.

If you haven't used it before you should really give it a try.

I'd been fond of the Google Music (cloud services) app, so I immediately downloaded that. But on your tip here I decided to have a look at the stock music player. Whoa! Pretty nice. It's showing me lyrics to the song thats playing. I'm not sure if thats standard on the later versions of Android or what, but my D1 certainly didn't do that!

and don't forget about the media effects under settings/sounds... can tweak the "equalizer" pretty good in there (not really an equalizer, but some good preset settings)

Just found those! Awesome! If only it accessed stuff I have on Google Music?

I was under the impression that the sound settings were system wide...definitely affect Spotify.

I hate it. It makes a play list and when u hit next it goes through the playlist it automatically makes. I like Googles music player a lot better

U have your own cloud service ....motocast.

Which is awesome by the way.

Indeed!

But, with Motocast does your computer have to be turned on? With Google Music its all stored on their server. I don't have to make sure my computer (laptop) is turned on and connected.

Yea the PC has to be turned on for Motocast. I have a desktop thats on basically 24/7 so Motocast is probably my first option. Not just for music but I have some movies on my PC I can see too. Pictures too.

Question. Can you link Google music to motocast? Will it work??

Don't really know about that with Google Music.

Motocast is basically a remote desktop app for your files. So far its alot more stable than regular remote desktop apps I've tried. Granted you can do more with a regular remote desktop app tho.

After reading about this here I had to go check the music player out and I am impressed as well. I just downloaded Google music but now I think I am going to get rid of it. Thanks for bringing this to my attention.

Used it again at work.

Forgot to load an audio book before I left the house.....fired up the music app, there it is.

Also another thing, motocast + your wifi = no more having to connect a cable to get your files onto your phone.
