The Only iPhone Designed Element I Would Have On My Android

Ok, I know what you are saying; “Why would an Android user want anything to do with Iphone or anything that even remotely resembled it.” I completely understand your views on this and have always for the most part agreed. If you want it to look like an Iphone go and get an Iphone right? Wrong. I was wrong. Yes, even I can admit this faux pas. Reason being is that sometimes us devoted Android users need something that is simplistic and easy to use. I am not in any way saying that the Android platform is not easy to use. However, sometimes we tire of the way certain functions are carried out. Take for instance the Notifications menu. While this menu looks great and works flawlessly in my opinion, it would be nice from time to time to try something new. For me the problem has always been having to go into the main screen in order to read my notifications because some of the apps I use do not allow for the task bar to be shown. Because it is not shown in those circumstances, notifications cannot be accessed unless you leave the app. And as I have previously mentioned in my latest review; some apps will restart from the beginning and not save your progress when you return via the menu button.

I thoroughly enjoyed Imessage on my IP5. I really enjoyed the apps. They were flawless.

....Why doesnt android have a kick starter app?!? blah.

What apps don't allow you to pull down the notification bar? And apps like Smart status bar let you pull it down from anywhere.

Maybe its for some people, but I'm not a fan of the iOS notification system. On samsung devices, you can pull it down from any app, fullscreen or not. I think Google Hangouts is really coming along with the ability to not use text messages but still, everyone has to use it. Wish iMessage, it was there no matter what. My wife and I use Hangouts all day at work to shoot each other articles or funny pics at work and its nice to still get them when I'm away from my desk on my phone.
