If you love customizations and are addicted to flashing roms then you already know that your phone won't be fully customizable unless its bootloader is unlocked. If you have been looking for a way to install aosp Android on your Kindle Fire HD 6 or 7 you are now one step closer with the release of the bootloader unlock method! This method will require that you are either running Linux or that you have a linux box or python installed on windows. Once you have taken care of that detail you will need to head to the link below to grab the necessary file. You will also need to be familiar with running adb commands. As you can probably tell this method isn't necessarily for the Android beginner, but if you are pretty good at following directions you should be ok. As always backup everything prior to beginning, and do this at your own risk!
