The Keyboard Lights aren't on at all

Hello, I already had a rooted D2 wasn't looking for any ROMs just overclocking capabilities. Eventually I got the MotoBlur GB 2.3.3 that I wanted and rooted that soon after. But my keyboard lights don't work and its the only problem I have. I've read multiple forums on how to fix but its mostly DroidX fixes and fixes for the hard keys on the side through adj. Any1 got a fix with instructions. Any feedback is appreciated thx.

I have a d2, and the hard keys dont stay on, only for a few secs when turned on or if I hit something... I dont care, its under warranty and they are sending me a refurbed d2 global for free, which I dont really need since Im upgrading to 99.9% the Bionic. But will be nice to have a global device for when I travel instead of renting one. If your under warranty, may want to try the same thing.. ask for the global, thats if you need it.

Thats the thing there are simple apps to fix hardkey lighting issues for example: AdjBrightness and Keyboard Backlight Controller, which I'm currently running. I already have that running but the sesnor that tells the keyboard to light seems to be unresponsive. I don't need or want a new phone cause it was fine before I went to GB so I know the Phone isn't broken.

Try sbf? I know I used to have that problem but I forgot about it and I have did a few sbf since then and they work fine now. Hopefully it helps I know its annoying

Yeah the sbf thing was annoying... almost had a brick...
Flashing froyo then recovering my last froyo setup before GB
Then bootstrap loading GB then recovering what I had before sbf kinda fixed it but didn't seem to the trick... My buttons seem to be preset as on at nearly all times and when I do walk into the light its terrible delay. I'll probably go back to the keyboard program until a patch comes along or the official GB is released. Thx for the help tho.
