They unblocked this forum from the restricted list of sites. :icon_ banana:

I only work about 2 hours a day anyhow, but it's nice to have SOMETHING to do while I'm here at work. Going to play racquetball here shortly. :)

Being a 25B in the Army i can tell you that it was not "big army" blocking these forums because i've always been able to get on them from work. Albeit the boards are crippled and look like crap on a government connected computer, however I've always had access to them. The lists of restricted websites will vary from post to post on top of what "big army" dictates.

I think they made the mistake when they umblocked facebook for everyone...

The DOIM here are idiots.

I think it's funny that I can get onto Facebook but not some airline cheap ticket websites. Or that I can get to my blog (droid-does.blogspot.com) but I can't get to blogspot or blogger.com to edit and make new posts.

Hell they had that Bing blocked when it first came out.

It's still blocked at my hospital... but only because the army gave me a ****ty computer ( i can't even do correspondence courses on my work pc, not that i have time either but) and it won't load.

I don't get the Red Screen of Death

My access to websites are governed by IT depts. at my defense contractor plants. If I complain to the right person (drop hints about not being able to accept product) then the blocks somehow are removed.

Funny, I work for the DOD and can access this site no problem and CNN. But apparently Amazon and Delta airlines is "unacceptable" on the DOD level.
