Just wanted to say hi to everyone and please forgive all of my newbie questions. Got the D3 as my first smartphone and well, I hate it. Going to the Verizon store in the morning because they need to figure out my airplane mode issue. LOL

Welcome to the forum. Sorry ur having issues. Have u tried pulling battery, reboot or factory reset?

If your stuck in airplane mode, press and hold the power button and you will get a pop up, in that pop up you will see airplane mode. From there you should be able to turn it off. Hope that helps. :welcome: to droid forums!

Sorry for the late reply! After an extended period of sleep, the phone (thinking positive ) would go to airplane mode and I was having difficulty getting it out. It was taking between 5 and 10 minutes for it to get service back.

Took it into the store yesterday and the guy thought removing the battery would help. It was ok overnight so fingers crossed. Here's hoping that something so simple is enough to fix the issue!
