[Thank You] To Verizon

I'm sure Verizon could care less in all honesty. As of right now, promptness or not, they're doing the best overall, so what are people going to do? Defect to a less reliable, less appealing carrier? Nope. People will complain, and Verizon will do what it wants when it's ready, and people will still complain, but we'll keep taking the bait one way or another.

How productive of you to say so!

Thanks.

Really I. Have just seen far too many people really stick it to Verizon/Motorola without proper justification, I truely know as corporations they don't have feelings.

That said, I do believe it very important to show gratitude for a job well done with this update for this round. If not just to show that this forum, as it concerns updates, can be a place of positivity, not only negativity.

VZW should be thanking us for our patience. We pay them monthly, paid for the phone, it's on them to deliver.

Yeah. Thanks to the corporation called Verizon. Its good to get an update that was anticipated before I decided to buy my phone, and have it actually appear, months after expected.

I'm happy to see stability in the consumer electronics world, as well as my ability to earn money to send to you each month.

Though I live paycheck to paycheck, as most people do nowadays, and even work to provide you with equipment that you use to charge me to use my phone, I will continue to send my payments to you, for an undetermined length of time.

So yeah...really....thanks. I know you are doing all you can do in these troubled times. And....have a nice day!

I will wait to comment on how great Verizon is when I finally get the update.

I'm not even sure Verizon is delivering the update. But I can tell you this, 2.1 is not going to be that big of a deal, specially if you ever rooted.

Still, it did improve the Droid. We can scroll freely on the internet again, there is pinch and zoom. I'm happy with it.

mrely2, what are you waiting on go update. +1 to that Hookbill, my favorite part of the update, is the elimination of the browser scrolling lag.

Thank you Verizon! (for letting me hack apart my phone and make it better then yours, wink wink)
