Texting to android problem (samsung)

So my friend has that newer samsung android phone, and I have an lg env2.. Whenever I text to that samsung phone I get an automatic reply staying "message delivered to ___ as plain text destination does not support enhanced messaging service" and if i send multiple pages in one text, the samsung won't get all of the message.

Is there any way to fix this either on my phone or the samsung phone? it's really annoying and inconvenient..

Are they using the stock text app?

Yeah, everything stock. It did this first day right out of the box up to now.
