Text to speech wont turn off

So i wanted to test out text to speech on my Droid X, but now it wont shut off. if i try to go into any menus or settings , it highlights my selection in red but wont enter. i cant find anything in the manual about it. i tried removing the battery but i still have the same problem, can anyone help please?????

Never mind i figured it out, So here is the answer for anyone else looking for this solution. when it highlights your selection in red, you need to double tap quickly to make that selection. glad that crisis was over, i was about to march into verizon and slap B.
