Text Notifications

I looked around here, but can't find an answer. I've downloaded some sound clips, but can't get them as text notifications. I can get them to work as ringtones, but not for texts. I've only had minimal luck with soundboard apps. Also tried Ringo Lite, but it doesn't find any clips I've downloaded. Any ideas on how to do this? Thanks in advance.

Oh, phone is a Droid.

ringdroid works great for me, it finds the audio file and then lets me edit it to the time frame i want it to last and then save it as a notification, ringtone, alarm, and i think on other option.

Hi,

I don't know if this is a convention in how the folders are read, but I have all of my notification files in the following folder structure

SDCARD>System Sounds>Notifications>sample.mp3

I hope this helps (I think you might try putting it in a folder named Notifications
