Text Messaging Apps

I currently get text messages on both Handcent and the app that came installed on the phone. What do I need to change to get them ONLY on Handcent? I used to know, but I've since forgotten.

Go to the stock texting app<settings and it should have a check box that says notifications active or something similar to that
