text message issues

I have a Moto Droid and I dont understand why i can get piture message but if some one send me a picture mesage that moves or vidoe message it just looks like a pict message. do i need something to make this work correctley.

The Droid does not handle moving gifs as of yet. Not sure if it will be in the rumored January update. For videos I think you need to same them to the SD card and then watch them (assuming they are in a Droid-approved format).
