Text Input Issue

Hello, I have had my Droid X for a while now. Recently, the keyboard / text inputs have not been working right. More than often, I'll go to type in a text input, usually status update or text messaging (standard services), and nothing will appear in the text box. I would have to type a long series of letters before anything appears in the box. If I hit the space bar, all the text disappears unless it finally ends up showing up in the text box (then it works fine). Any ideas or help with the issue?

Im having the same issue. I changed the input to swipe and it works fine but I dont like the swipe option!

Maybe try a different keyboard? I use SwiftKey and it is much nicer than the stock keyboard

Hm, I did download a different keyboard, and, while I did think it helped for a little while, the same problem keeps happening. I wish I knew what caused it, at least. But it seems to be completely random.
