It sounds like there is a way to do it through the 3G connection using one of the apps specified, macman4. I already knew it could be done through public wifi networks. I can do most of what I want and need to do on my DROID 2- when the ads say "DROID DOES." They AREN'T kidding. However, somethings I still prefer/need to do on the lappy (like I PREFER to browse the full internet on the laptop, particularly if it is a site with a lot of flash-based content; for work I NEED to use the laptop for editing and sending certain presentations, even though I could potentially use the DROID, the ppt and quick office apps do not have the same functionality, etc, plus all my presentations are already saved on my laptop)...

Let us know if you try it and how it goes, please...

Thanks!

Pdanet fully paid for version is a godsend to me, I can only get dialup in my rural area,so my droid2, tethered to my home puter is much faster than dialup will ever be. I love it!!
