TB faster halfway through root!?

Ok so I spent like 3 hours rooting last night (because my computer was sucking) but i think it was during step 2 of the easy root method i noticed the phone booted at least twice as fast as it normally did and then it went back to normal boot speed after i finished root.

Could one of the images we used to flash to get root be faster? If so, would i be able to flash it again to get that speed back or would it mess up my root.

Using Das Bamf 1.3.2 the bootup is easily 3x faster than the stock bootup process. I think it depends on the rom you're using.
