Tasker is an application that basically allows you to write programs to control your Droid. It is not a task killer. Anyway, the original poster should go to the tasker wiki.

also, it may be beneficial if you just walk through and create the first few profiles to get a better understanding of it, not just copy the files over. not saying you have to, just will help u in using it in the long run
